Ormella
Hailing from East London, Ormella is a classically trained singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Having previously lent her unmistakably soulful voice to the classic analogue synthesiser sounds and reverb drenched guitars in the atmospheric pop band Takk, she now — now as a solo artist — continues to push her sound into a more intimate space, stripping her songs back to a singer-songwriter style.
Her self-proclaimed influences include Joni Mitchell, Florence Welch, Christine Mcvie, and Fiona Apple are alive in her sound and songwriting style.
